Hockaday, 1889," fancy white and yellow enamel SS impressed dial with multicolor floral detail around center, Arabic numerals in radial orientation against a light yellow background, gold foil minute numerals and decorations, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, engraved gold dome around balance jewel setting, ornate quilted pattern nickel damascene, s#1448917. Gross weight of assembled watch 85.8 dwt (133.6 g). CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, few fine to micro-fine scratches; dial with hl at 10, hl at 4, short fine scratch within right side of seconds-register; fine hands, minute with finish loss to its tip; case shows very little wear, very subtle soft-dent at perimeter of front outside 10, very mild soft dent toward right perimeter of rear, excellent engraving detail, blue demi chapter enameling is nearly fully present with only a small loss outside the 10 numeral, case front needing a nudge of assistance through its initial opening portion before lift spring progresses unassisted the rest of the way; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystals.
